ML--Have you ever had a sleep study? Or maybe just ask Fancyguy if he can check--do you snore or stop breathing throughout the night? If so, you might have some sort of breathing issue like apnea.

One of the tell-tale signs is waking up from a full night's sleep with a headache that feels like a hangover. Your brain might not be getting enough oxygen when you're sleeping and it manifests itself as a headache when you wake up. It's NOT something to ignore as it can have serious long term effects.
