Intensity and sensual overload. Dim lighting which creates intimacy and a little fear. And then an intense performer who is clearly having sex either in front of you (with her music, or her words, or her dance, or whatever) and/or creates a feeling that you are the only one receiving this performance, and that you are desired. I think you can do anything–eat cereal, walk, read a page, drum, press your body against another–asexually or sexually. So I guess I’m saying instead of performing, fuck the stage, your audience or yourself up there, and the audience will feel the intensity and the heat.

I haven’t been to many sexy live events that didn’t involve strippers. However. I did go take some photos for a non-profit theatre fundraiser the other day (coho productions. google it, lazy ass) and they showed a preview of a show coming later this year called, “Wienerland” or something like that.

Basically it was a half hour string of dick jokes as a musical. Very fun, kinetic, and awesome. The leading lady is so cute that I would cry if I didn’t get laid all the time cause I’m a SEX GOD. er. yeah… anyway.

First, you need to know that there’s an impostor out there. I was walking to the gym downtown when I noticed a gal with cute black curly hair on a bike about a block ahead. Well, it wasn’t you… once I got closer I noticed she had the hair but was so very NOT you. I thought I should warn you.

Now on to our regularly scheduled comment…

Well there were plenty of times when I left a show in my teens and early twenties where I HAD to just do, but I’m not sure if this was just because of me (I’m hyper-sexual) or a combination of the two. Hell, a breeze could blow up my skirt and I’d be ready to tackle anyone around (I have since learned to reign in this urge, but only just barely)! I’ve learned that this reaction occurs most often with music, but can be brought on by an inspiring performance of any sort.

The one that sticks out in my mind the most occurred at a show with the boyo back when there was no we. I was on the verge of leaving the first mister and the boyo had only ever been a friend. It was nearing the end of the show and he started dancing with me and I think that that’s when I noticed he was a boy and not just my friend. I do remember that I had to do something right then and there so I bit him on the shoulder. He quickly left and got us drinks. All I kept thinking was that he had a hearse and that had plenty of room. I also remembered that he was untouchable in those days and that I was still married. However, I think that that quickly made it a lot easier for me to say the D word, which is what had scared me up until then (because I was of the mind that that would mean I had failed at something).

Oh. Um…well. With all our sexy emails you’d think I’d have mentioned this one.

You know, that whole Rat Pack type of thing.

Not a performance, but I was recently in an American Apparel when the Pretenders’ song “Night in My Veins” came on, and if I’d had the option of having sex with anyone at that moment, I absolutely would have. And I have a pretty low sex drive, so that’s saying something. The song is a little cheesy, but apparently the lyrics push all the right buttons for me. (Also, I had just seen a performance by a very hot male musician the night before, so I think I was experiencing some after-effect.)

This has happened to me more than once but only once when I had a partner available. That time it was while watching flamenco dancing. Those girls are HOT, and I’m not even into girls. I have seen some flamenco dancers and totally not been turned on but if they are good it’s awesome. I think it’s all in the hips.
On the other occasions it is usually some kind of dancing. I have been to strip clubs but that hasn’t done the trick. I guess it’s too obvious and artificial for my taste.
